Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec created this ample armchair by using an extremely strong custom knitted textile which is stretched over the metal frame like a fitted stocking, perfectly hugging its shapes. This knit cover gives the Slow Chair a truly ergonomic, comfortable and soft seat, which is further enhanced by thin seat and back cushions. The translucent cover replaces the thick upholstery of traditional armchairs, resulting in a design that is lightweight, yet generously proportioned. The Slow Chair can be accompanied by an ottoman.
